CAN I CONTROL MY VEHICLE FROM MY PHONE?
Yes. Our 2WG17 and T12 packages include DroneMobile smartphone control with a free 30-day trial. DroneMobile is completely optional—the handheld remotes work normally without a subscription. If you like the app, you can continue the service after the trial; if not, you can simply keep using your remotes.
WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN ONE-WAY AND TWO-WAY?
A one-way remote sends a command to the vehicle but does not confirm whether the vehicle received it. A two-way remote sends the command and then confirms back when the vehicle responds, so you know your remote-start command went through—even when the vehicle is out of sight.
WILL REMOTE START WORK WITH MY VEHICLE?
In most cases, yes. Remote start is available for the vast majority of vehicles, including many push-to-start and diesel applications. A small number of vehicles may have limitations based on their factory electronics or available integration. We verify compatibility and the proper system for your vehicle before installation.
CAN REMOTE START WORK ON PUSH-TO-START OR DIESEL VEHICLES?
Yes. Remote start can be added to most push-to-start and diesel vehicles. Push-to-start systems are integrated with the vehicle’s factory electronics, while diesel applications can be configured for the proper glow-plug delay before starting. We make sure the system is set up correctly for the way your vehicle starts and operates.
